After pond escapade and a painful night with a throbbing toe (re last nights post) I went to our local cottage hospital - briliiant no waiting seen straight away. We don't xray little toes but by the colour of it, it is probably broken. The nurse strapped it up to the next toe, said rest it, put your foot up and it will take 6 weeks for it to heal. What chance of resting (with or without foot up) for 6 weeks with a garden to landscape. Plus I don't sit still very easily, I have to keep going. Thanks everyone for posts last night and earlier today.
