Does anyone know if on a car license you can build up no claims on your insurance for a car? How does this work?

you build up your no claims on the years you are insured without a claim surely

well yes, but does it crossover from quad bike insurance to car insurance? Does building up no claims on the quad bike transfer to a car if i got one in the future?
was the quad bike street legal? If so you would get better advice from your previous insurer. See if they will let your no claim years count.
insurance does Not cross over from bike to car , as a quad bike would be insured under bike insurance not car insurance then your car insurance would not count towards any bike insurance you would take out for your quad or vice versa.

owning both bike and car myself i am often frustrated by this, however sadly it appears this is how it is done
quads are ridden on car licenses and classed as a PLG vehicle just like a car. Falcon insurance state that many insurers DO accept no claims bonus from a quad to reduce a car policy.
