Can I answer if I'm not married? Anyway at the office - he pursued me first via e-mail
11 years later he still hasn't :-(

We went to school together and he lived round the corner from me when we were kids...he's liked me since about the age of 17/18 but kept missing his opportunity.

He proposed not long after my dad died. I'd been round my mates house weeping...he proposed when I got home all snotty and red eyed. I think he felt sorry for me...lol

Not yet....we were planning on doing it last year. We're going to go away and do it...but with the grandparents being poorly I didn't want to leave the country.

1. he was a friend of a friend and asked me to sort him out with some dope
2. he proposed on a dual carriageway verge while we were hitching a lift to a rather large free rave a week later (castle morton - legendary gig!)

still together after 20-odd years with an 18 yr old and three cats (substitute children). fortunately, we didn't burn too many brain cells and worked to put each other through uni, get 'proper jobs' and become vaguely normal. who said the drugs don't work? x

I'm past caring tbh tink but if we did I also would want to go abroad and do it and wouldn't care too much about having anyone else there.

tinks...our feet didn't touch the ground for the first year, but then i got up the duff and had to start being sensible. we have done all manner of wild things in our time and were both free spirits. life and marriage has knocked some of the fun out of things, however, we are still going strong after evrybody said it wouldn't work or last - while others all around have got divorced, fallen out and done some really stupid things (affairs, prison etc.). we don't take the moral high ground, either, and just don't speak to any of them. as a result, our lives are more peaceful and 'normal' - and they all said we were the ones who were f*cked up! x
