Did the American they got in to run the Tube do a good job a few years back?

He might have been able to clean up London for a start, who knows, though what he must think of some of the lame duck police chiefs we have had. perhaps he could bring his experience to bear on some of the urban problems we are faced with, like gun and knife crime. After all though of course i am not putting these in the same category, we have foreigners who run our businesses and rich arabs, russians, who buy our football clubs, and no one turns a hair.
If he Theresa May has blocked him, then there isn't much i would have thought Cameron could do.

I'll give it a go - anyone with a good track record - as we have to in our employment selection, it's the best person for the job, not what their nationality is.
