Second or third childhood what do you think?

OH went on ebay today and bought a sports car (used of course) an MGsomething or other. He is 75 this year, says he wants some fun before he pops his clogs. What do you think?

tink, yeah, that's probably it!......they raise their family, and then later in life they can afford to have the car they would have wanted when they were younger!.......so far play I suppose!....my OH still scares the life out of me, he drives like a mad man!....he's 61 now , surely it's time for a Volvo!..lol...

He'll soon get over it. My husband had an urge to buy a motor-bike. He only rode it a couple of times before he realised he was too old. He loved being one of the "brothers" for a while though.

A beautiful sports car pulled in at Asda last week, I looked at it and then at the occupants, man and wife, they must both have been in their seventies, what a let down. As tinks said earlier it was probably his life savings spent on trying to recapture their youth.

gran has made me think about this!..my OH has worked hard to look after his family for many ears, still does, and so, if he wants to have the car of his dreams now, why not!.......he deserves to have that!......

Why do we always associate a lovely looking sports car with a hunky bloke? . Good luck to your OH Welshy like my OH he has earned whatever he wants to have the most after his years of hard work, I wouldn't begrudge anyone their pleasure.
