High Heels + Weak Ankle
I've got my outfit sorted now for the wedding I've been invited to. The only thing is,I need a fairly high heeled shoe to stop me looking like a very small person in a big hat!! (Bit like a mushroom).
I broke my left ankle (tib & fib) back in 1994 and was in plaster for 6 months so I haven't really worn high heels since.
Does anyone know of a shop/site or brand that would help and would wedges be better than points?

I have arthritis and decided to wear some proper heels I have as a treat (rare thing these days!), had a stumble and still suffering the afteraffects combined with the arthritis - it's still bruised over 6 months on. The heels have now been relegated back to the shelf as not risking that again.
I've got a friend's wedding on Saturday and going in a dress so going to wear a very low pair of thick heeled heels with a peep toe and bow detail I have then will have some nice pumps on standby for later, not that I anticipate dancing much but once the lights go down and the drinks have been flowing, who will see/care :)
