The story was quickly planted that the police were shot at and an officer hit which resulted in the fatal shot (or shots) that killed Duggen.

Now the Daily Mail are reporting that the bullet recovered from a police radio was a police one. Curious?

The IPCC have just issued a statement confirming that Duggan did not discharge any gun. It also confirm he was shot in the chest, and that the bullet in the radio was fired by a police officer.
