Last week I bought a MP3 (Packardbell) in Dubai. I couldn't test it till I got back to UK. I can't get it to work. How do I claim under warranty? Packardbell website is hopeless.

I'd say buy one off ebay and send your broken one back for a refund, but then that would be really naughty !.
Hi sk,  I know you won't like this but are you sure that you are trying the correct things to make it work.  It is a bit unusal for this type of item to not work at all when received.

I like your idea tigga. Thanks.

qapmoc. I think your are right. It does work in nearly everything but when i try to download to it from my PCit copies the icon but not the music. It says it has no files. When i try to send music to it, it sometimes says "path too deep." I think I may have done something to it should I try to reformat?

Hi again sk, this sounds to me like you are trying to copy files to it in the wrong format, are you sure that the files you are trying to copy are actual mp3 with names like south-street-blues.mp3 and not music files in a CD file format.

Thanks qapmoc. This may be correct, but when I transferred them to the previous MP3 there was no problem. Perhaps there was software that converted them. What can you suggest? I'm very grateful to you
