Being made homeless.
14 Answers
A friend is on the verge of splitting with her fella. They're not married and have a nice house, and although it's in his sole name, she pays most of the bills and has bought pretty much all the furniture out of "her" money.
They also have a 10 year old daughter and a 21 year old daughter from her first marriage who still lives with them.
What are her options ? The house has been up for sale for 4 months but not much interest yet. If she leaves him, will she be entitled to a council place or would she have to private rent ?
What would you do....she only works part time so isn't loaded.
Any advice is welcome

But the stuff (furniture etc) she's paid for she can take. Why would a father make his daughter homeless? The 21 year old should now cut the apron strings. Tell your friend too to report all this to the CSA.
