Could anybody tell me how to create my own mailing list or recommend any good online tutorials that would help me create one? Ideally it should include a 'Fill this in to join our mailing list' text fields aswell. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Unless you're going to write your own back-end server script to manage your mailing list, you're going to need a mailing list manager preinstalled on your mail server (such as majordomo). Such managers then usually have a submit address such as [email protected] that capture the senders email address and add them. There are a million and one other options available to you using such software including digests, etc. Form based submission through the web is your call and is usually achieved by a mailto: form rather than a back-end script. Again, this is up to your mailing list manager software... if you need more info, help, advice or even a new mail server with list manager software drop me a line.
Don't know where you live Wizard, but if you e-mail the Crawley Observer [West Sussex] the bloke who does their computing column did a really easy to follow series of articles. I presume you mean to print out sheets of labels - for Christmas cards & the like [unless I'm being thick, which is possible] - His name's John Trueman, and he was offering the articles on a floppy disk, for a very small fee. Basically you use and excel spreadsheet as you database, all containing the info in columns [first names, surnames etc] then go to word & do mail merge. It's quite easy - even I could do it!
