i warned people on here the other day you get a stiffer sentence for handling stolen goods than the person who stole them

I wonder if these harsh sentences will have an effect on the casual shop lifter not involved in these riots. Before they got a slap on the wrist and a reprimand and they were even using fixed penalties.
