I'm on windows 7 and my computer lost the "theme colour" red overnight. This has a weird affect on the screen colour. Can anyone help?

Kind of difficult to understand what you are trying to say.
Are you sure that you don't just mean that your monitor is no longer displaying red - in which case, a loose monitor lead would be the first point to check.

For example: in word or excel the font choice does not display the red theme for selection.

Hi rojash,
Thank you, you were right. When I first examined the monitor lead, everything looked ok. However, with a very thorough check , I found a damaged pin. All ok now.
