DVD player for .avi files on CD-R discs...
3 Answers
I have individual movies saved as .avi files written to 700MB CD-R discs. Currently we watch these via laptops using either QuicktimePro or VLC Player.
Can anyone recommend a DVD player that will play these movies without the need for me to convert the .avi movie files before writing to DVD discs so they play on a conventional DVD player?

There are loads that claim to play DivX AVI files but most of those are limited to certain versions of DivX and or certain bit rates and resolutions.
