When you are applying for additional borrowing from your mortgage provider? They have sent all the forms to be signed and want a cheque for the arrangement fee and the monies we want to borrow will be sent to my account within 48 hours. Have they already credit checked me by this stage? I have a slight worry about 1 catalogue bill which was sent to my old address and I paid it 3 days late. Will this show?

To be honest our building society never did credit checks when we had a top up mortgage. We had been with them for a good while and they said it was unnecessary.
I suppose we had an excellent history with the building society with no missed payments, etc.

Oh good. We have only had our new mortgage with them for 7 months but have prior to our move been with them for 20 years. Thanks
Don't take my word as gospel though. But I feel sure all is OK.
