pickling onions

Anyone give me an idea when pickling onions will be in the shops? I have 4 or 5 coffee jars just waiting to be filled with vinegar etc!!

Any time soon I think, usually Sept/Oct isn't it?

If use shallots you should be able to get them sooner

If you fancy pickling some eggs they're in the shops all the year round.
