I have a Sony Cybershot digital camera that takes rechargable batteries. Only my sister borrowed it for her holiday and the airline have now lost her suitcase with the battery charger in it. I need it for a gig this weekend and was wondering if it is ok to put normal AA batteries in it? I would look it up in the instruction manual but that is in her suitcase too!!!!!!

I have done this with no problems (apart from the cost!)

Marvellous! Thank you - can't miss out on getting snaps of Robbie!!!
You do need however the Extra strong ones because the Camera will use a lot of power.

Don't have to be these exact ones, but don't buy some own brand ones or ones where you get 600 for 2. Those sorts are fine in a radio but just don't have the power.
Yeah, you can do it.
