Yesterday I watched my first ever film with him in; 'black dawn'

Is he that bad in every film? He had one facial expression throughout the whole film, a mix of constipation and bemusement (maybe he's bemused about being constipated?)

He just didnt make a very convincing action charachter.

he is awful isn;t he, i tried to watch something the other night, some kind of cop show, it didn;t last long. i think i would prefer to watch x factor than something he's in

1 win and 8 nominations for the Razzies as Worst Actor / Worst Film more or less says it all.

He's slightly less bad in his earlier films. Not as far as his "acting" skills go, but in that he did seem at least proficient in martial arts. The last film of his I saw (managed to erase the name from memory) saw him wobble up to an opponent followed by close ups of a stunt man's arms doing the aikido.

I still have a soft spot for the gloriously OTT "Out for Justice", though.

When I look on the sky epg at films and read the synopsis, it sounds great and then it mentions he's in it so I stop reading and look for another film...

and to answer your question, yes, he really is that bad...I think he went to the Ray Winstone acting school.

I'm reliably informed by my son that in his current films (he recently shot one in the UK) he hardly takes over from the body-doubles and stunt men. He is so overweight he can hardly move and is just used for selective close ups.
