Was wondering where Whistling Jack Smith (' I was Kaiser Bill's Batman') had gone !
We have exactly the same problem.
All appears to be well, but the noise is a little unsettling.
I will check the valve seating (or get lordalex to do this)
Thanks.
We have a 'chinkling' noise coming from ours, plumber due Friday morning

Sounds like a seal of some type not doing what it's supposed to do.
Hi there , there might be scale or debris blocking the inlet pipe, get something and have a go at clearing it out , might solve it !!
Air i the system, needs bleeding.
albaqwerty,
maybe if you throw that seal a fish it will settle down, stop chinkling and get back to doing what it's supposed to be doing!
