Firewall wanted for website
5 Answers
I have a .co.uk domain with my website, blog and Forum. The forum gets tons of spammers. I got over 600 in three days when I moved it to a new
provider and the captcha was off. I need some sort of Firewall that will run on my ISP's server to block these bots. I could put them in my .htaccess or via Cpanel Deny Manager to keep them off my site but anybody have a better way? Thanks

captchas are probably your best bet, banning by IP addresses isn't workable because most people don't have static IP addresses (and bot networks will be using hundreds or thousands of peoples computers, many of them with dynamic IP addresses)
