Needing a Purge??...
7 Answers
We've put our central heating on to check things out before the cold nights are upon us, Nothing, things are not working. I phoned the heating engineers who serviced it 4 weeks ago & things were fine, they said the system may need a part or a Purge through. mmm! are they having me on? or not, anyone with any knowledge of heating probs?
The part + labour £100, the Purge could be £200 - £500 depending.

He cleaned everything up did what ever had to be done. Said we may need a small part in the near future. But the heating was fine at that time. When I spoke to him today he reminded me of things he may have to do when he comes Friday.
I was a bit dubious thats why I posted here.
But what can I do? Its got to be done I could go to another Co' but how do I know if they are any different... They've got me by the short & curlies really.
Yes Tony to your Q. These people installed the boiler 6 years ago & they come and service it every year. We've never used anyone else.
