I, would like to send fresh home made Pastie's to my daughter in Wales,the shop I use to use no longer do it by post.Can anyone suggest how I could do this myself?Many thanks for your answers.

Made by yourself, or "home made" in as much as the local shop made them from 'scratch' ? If the problem isn't so much in the posting but in the purchase, well you could make the pasties yourself. Or buy and get delivered from an Internet retailer. If, on the other hand, Chuck nailed it in one, then maybe it's a simple case of when the system you have used for ages is no longer an option, you can end up blind to the obvious alternative. :-)
Your main problem is suitable packaging - solve that and you are there
