Peugeot 306 Cabriolet Roof Problem

The automatic roof has broken & Peugeot has told me one of the Hydrolic hose's has split and i need a new one. Peugeot only sell them in pairs at a cost of around �300 plus VAT - Does anyone know anywhere I can get them cheaper??

You could try a industrial Hyraulic hole supplier, see yellow pages for your nearest one. If the ends are a standard fitting there should be able to make one up of the right length and standard based on the old on. Just had a thought, tractors use a lot of hydrailic kit so a agriculturtal engineer may be able to help you. The alternative is to try an importer of Peogeot parts, try yellow pages, internet or car mags.

colin had a good suggestion there. there might be a local company that could custom build the hose. other than that i'd say ebay or auto salvage yards. if you buy used inspect them VERY carefully for cracks or damage before you leave the yard.

The ends are specific to the type of pump fitted.
Remove the hose and take it to your local Pertek and ask them to make up a new one using the existing ends
