Online Libraries again...
7 Answers
Following on from weeme's question below, I've looked at those online libraries and in particular I was looking for any 'books' on sign language and lip reading, Does anyone know of any other sites where I could find pictures and step by step stuff to help me learn some basics with this?

Thanks for your answer though!
I won't give up yet Lennon, though it is quite difficult as I wrongly assumed that the American system is the same as the British - anyway I managed to find a site with sentences - It's a bit medical-minded, but there are a lot of phrases etc near the bottom of the page. See what you think?

Cetti, you're post really made me laugh. You're right though, I don't think I could put many of those into a conversation unless I wanted the person to run away from me screaming!! Thanks for all your help though. The reason I want to learn basics is because I've put in an application to join the police and I think it would be a handy skill to have to help all kinds of people, if I got the job as I think its overlooked a lot.
Hi Janetex, thanks for your post. That sounds like an interesting group - could you tell me the web address so I can have a look and any other info you can tell me about the site would be greatly appreciated. Thanks again! :)
