Monday's child is fair of face,
Tuesday's child is full of grace;
Wednesday's child is full of woe,
Thursday's child has far to go;
Friday's child is loving and giving,
Saturday's child works hard for its living;
But the child that is born on the Sabbath day
Is bonny and blithe, and good and gay

I've always heard it as, "And a child born on the Sabbath day, is warm & wise & good & gay". I think that's because bonny & blythe aren't common sayings in North America. I personally know what they mean, but it's bad enough as it is that 90% (probably more for kids & teens) think gay means homosexual & not happy.
