Does anyone remember a strawberry or a banana flavour ice cream ice lolly from the 70's. It did not have toffee inside it. Names like big k or 4k could be something like. Have looked for it on Midland Counties link, but to no avail.

Hi blounty,
my wife thinks it's a "mivvi" and having had a look on google it may well be,(sorry I can't copy/paste a link.
allgram.
Mivvi sounds right to me! It had a sorbet type strawberry outer and vanilla ice cream inside.
I can definitely remember a strawberry mivvi - bright pink water ice outside, white ice cream in the middle. Can't remember a banana mivvi.
Could it have been Dairy Maid, as that was also around the same time,
and you can still get Strawberry mivvi, but i tended to go for the ones with chocolate
I remember a Pineapple Mivvi from back in the seventies, my parents owned a petrol station back then and I used to sell the ice lollies. I think there was also a Raspberry version.
D7 there was a raspberry mivvi, scrummy
You are making us all feel our age, now, blounty! I think it was known by that name but all the characters in the name were Roman Numerals which was odd.

Can anyone second that for me?

No guys, thanks for your replies but you are all on the wrong track, it did not have ice cream inside, it was ice creamy all the way through, definitely in banana flavour and the other flavour was strawberry (dont think it was raspberry). It was a rectangular shape and the nearest thing to it now in flavour is possibly a mini milk. Think the wrapper was mainly white with blue writing.

Thanks gina32

I thought they were called big k, not sure who made them though.
I remember a tube shaped milk lolly, you could get them in banana, chocolate or strawberry.
