I loved the book, and the film was faithful to it - but perhaps if you are not a Dan Brown fan, it's not so good. I like all his books.
the lead actor's hair had me hooked it's so bad.
I loved the book, and his others too. As Boxy said the film's pretty faithful to it, but not as good or as enthralling.
T'was tripe the film

I actually bought the Disc of the film, I only managed to watch a few minutes. You are right, boxtops, if you enjoy the books then its great to see the film.
I liked the book - film makes it all rather predictable,,,,,

the interesting thing was the music "coding" they found in Rosslyn chapel (final scenes of the movie ad on at the moment).....fascinating

What does annoy me is if you read a book, or see a play on stage, and love it - then go to see the film, and they have changed it!

If I think that a book I am reading would make a good film, in my little brain I 'cast' actors in the roles. If the film is ever made, I am dissappointed by the actors they use
The film was very well made, where as the book was a bit long winded in parts. Angels & Demons was just as good.
If you don't like it... change the channel
The book was the most overhyped book ever, having already read The Holy Blood and the Holy Grail, I seethed through most of it, it was utterly corny. The film was as bad.
Well I loved the book. When I started reading it I couldn't put down so it took me less than a week to read it. I also kept googling stuff from the book every now and then whilst reading to check out facts. The film was good but not as good as the book.

I've read all of Dan Browns books apart from The Lost Symbol which I'm going to start when I finish my current book (The Crimson Petal and the White, which is brilliant).
Didn't like the book at all, so didn't want to watch the film I'm afraid.
I enjoyed watching it last night, albeit it was the 2nd time. I guess some films are more enjoyable the 2nd time around, some you just want to avoid tho.
