what is better...marvel or DC

I generally prefer Marvel for the "normal" superhero stuff. I don't think DC have got anything to touch X-Men. However Marvel doesn't have anything comparable to DC's "Vertigo" imprint.

same, i like marvel, the simple reason being there heroes are more realistic like spiderman you can relate to whereas you cant really relate to superman or green lantern can you, plus i think there heroes and stories are overall more better, my only favourite dc superhero is batman, otherwise its spiderman all the way!

I grew up with DC and it's always been my favourite. I saw it as the BBC of the comic world, with Marvel being a slightly tacky, trashy ITV. I still maintain that the DC characters have more soul and substance than the Marvel creations, with, obviously, some notable Marvel exceptions.
