Sometimes, when clicking a link in "Latest Posts" or from the "Topics" list, the new page "jumps" to the right slightly. For instance, it's doing it now from -

http://www.theanswerb.../Quizzes-and-Puzzles/

to

http://www.theanswerb.../Question1053043.html

When leaving that page for another, the screen then "settles" back to its normal position & the 2nd page might not move again even if I return immediately. It NEVER happens in Q & P/Crosswords, only when I go to SOME of the other Topics & then not every time.

I'm using Firefox 6.1 (though it happened with earlier versions too) & it only happens on AB.

Has this been noted before or is it just me?

Anything I can do about it, as it's quite irritating!

Many thanks, L-i K :-))

Hi boxy! I know, because it doesn't happen all the time - or every time in the same place - it's frustrating to try & describe! :-(
Bit like going to the dentist - the pain stops as soon as you get there :-)
Taking a guess here....

Could it be adverts being slightly different sizes on different pages making the screen move about a little to accommodate them?

If it is then you could always install ad block plus then you wouldn't even see the adverts (makes the page load time a lot faster too)

Thanks Chuck, but I've always had that installed...
:(
I disable it occasionally and click on a few ads just to keep you happy, Ed :)
Just at AB ?
Have you tried a different monitor ?
Aye you'll not want to miss the Scala ad, unsure what it's for but it starts off well.

Oops, sorry Ed...

OG - yes, only at AB & I'm afraid I don't have a spare monitor, nor access to one
