nvq 1 public services

hope i got the title right, but i am trying to help a work colleague out as her son has been offered a college place for an nvq 2 in public services but really did not want to start on an nvq2 as he hasnt got much confidence in himself and doesnt want to come across as thick as the others will have most probably done the nvq 1 so said i would have a look to see if i can find out a more comprehensive list of what they will have completed on the nvq 1 so really need the answerbankers help on his one, thanx

You must tell your work colleague not to worry, as the college would not have offered him the place on the Level 2 if they will fail. He obviously has the required entry requirements for this course, so that 's why is has been offered this level.
He needs a good 'pep' talk to boost his confidence.

Go for it, he will get all the help he needs, he will not be accepted for the course if he cant do it, he will get and assessment of his needs and his learning will be geared around his abilities. No worries.
