While Israel continues to be a pariah state why should its citizens, including musicians, expect to be treated any differently?

If you had been around in the 1930's would you have supported a tour by an orchestra from Nazi Germany? It might have been argued then that the players had nothing to do with their government.
Excuse my ignorance but what is the history behind the hatred of Jews? They hae persecuted all over the world but no one has ever explained why.
Was'nt this concert at the Albert Hall? I could understand the protest if it were held in an Arab state, and are we still not friends with the sovereign state of Israel.

We were once 'friends' with the apartheid state of South Africa. That didn't prevent protests here when their sports teams came to play.
I think we can work out your stance on the subject from your impartial avatar sandy.............
Was there ever a Palestinian sovereign state? I thought the Palestinians were nomads, scattered over the Arab countries - but yes - I hope they get a homeland of their own, but not with violence.
