Does anyone (but me!) remember a daytime costume drama from the '80s about two women who were transported to Australia. They weren't major criminals - just petty loaf-of-bread-stealing types. The first few episodes dealt wtih life on the boat on the way over. One of the women, the more brassy one, married her 'employer'. Is it just me that remembers this? I think it might have been on ITV, but can't say for sure.

It was definitely on at lunchtime - I used to go home for lunch as well! The name doesn't ring a bell but I'll do a bit more investigating and let you know!
