Grape Vine

I put a red grape vine in 2 years ago, and it's taken that long to grow 6'. It's growing up some lattice work on the side of my pergola, fairly sunny position, watered and fed well. I actually have 4 bunches of grapes on it this year, but none bigger than an elderberry. Do you think it will take a little longer to establish itself before producing decent fruit, or do I need to do any more myself. Any help, very much appreciated, thanks in advance, Clasher

Wait... I had one did nothing for about 3 years and I was losing patientce...the following year it went absolutely rampant and I was able to train it up and across the canopy above the back door... went from a few odd grapelets to about 10 good bunches in one season... water really is the key though and I fed mine liquid seaweed it seemed to like it a lot

Mine is in a greenhouse, 20y old & loaded. The leaves are used by local greek restuarant for stuffing & pickling and they make their house wine.

We put in 2 vines about three years ago, they started taking over the garden so one had to completely go and the other was moved to our big garden, I am currently trying to train it back with a whip and a chair.
