its no secret that most of these companies (bbc, ch4,5 and ITV) have been making massive cuts. this is bound to affect the quality of programmes, its set to worsen too, apparently ths years christmas schedule is heavily reliant on repeats.

Why didn't you watch 'The Proms' last night it was all film musical music, and last week it was the very first 'Comic Proms'.

in addition to the Proms, we also had the very good historical programme,"The Normans," on BBC2. If you watched something a little more educational, you might just have properly spelt "Saturday" in your title to this thread.

Can't believe Wossy's back, I even declined to buy my usual listings magazine because he is on the front this week. Totally agree with the Proms comment and the Comedy Prom last week made me laugh til tears ran down my leg! That Lullaby was hysterical, hope they do another one next year, I'll look at the schedule a bit earlier.

Saturday nights are for catching up on stuff you've taped or for watching a dvd etc. Scheduled TV has always been rubbish on a Saturday.
