Yet another great night comes to an end. I love it when you look at the crowds and see the flags carried by people of so many nations enjoying themselves joined by a love of good music
so, for the record, fully supportive of vallaw's definition.....and not of the previous one which was, given the political positioning in the handle, against the whole idea of the Proms and what it represents (mistakenly so)
It is a great shame that every year we have to put up with a vast crowd at the Royal Albert Hall singing the wrong words to auld lang syne.
Nowhere in this wonderful anthem do the words "for the sake of" ever appear.
Correctly it is FOR AULD LANG SYNE....please will you all learn for his blessed memory (Robert Burns) to get it right!
For auld lang syne means for old times gone by.
Ahhh, right, get ya now DT. I thought you were saying something against the sentiment of the post and LNOTP's. Didn't realise it was against a particular person.
I dunno, what's up with everyone lately on here? Everyone seems to be sniping at everyone else. Even innocuous posts like this get dragged into it.
I agree Boo and this ass--hole began it way before this this thread or his personal one this afternoon (which was shot down by others before being zapped by the Ed or whoever) - he ought to be suspended.
well we now know what a coarse and vulgar person you are as I think the Ed/Mods know what you are referring to - not that subtle and reflects your lack of any decent upbringing. I also hope that those watching report your personal insult, now delivered twice.
