i have a pair of grey trousers and a brown shirt with it. does anyone know what colour jumper would go with it??

I'd recommend a 'coffee and cream' look. So, if the shirt is dark brown, add a lighter brown jumper (or vice versa). However a shot of colour, as suggested by Mamya would also be a good idea. You need a warm colour (such as red, maroon or - if you're feeling bold - orange) to go with what you've got.

Of course greys and browns can work together, Ann (as long as you add a bit of something brighter). Just ask Jean-Paul Gaultier!

There are shades of grey that will go with shades of brown, believe me.

And burnt orange or a vibrant green would make a good jumper colour.
