laptop batteries - any recommendations?

other than the manufacturers site, which i know will be best, can anyone recommend somewhere that sells decent batteries that are reliable and last etc, but cheaper that the real thing.
ive looked at amazon, ebay etc, but dont know whos genuine so would like a proper store,

i think amazon themselevs are reliable, but its the independant sellers im not sure about, same as ebay
ive bought lots of amazon and ebay, and rarely had a problem, but laptop batteries are an odd one, because they might work but only last half an hour...which is useless to me, as thats what i have now...i want one that will last me hours and hours like a new one would...its just hard to tell
