It has now reached the stage whereby Adverts are Annoying me.

I can be scrolling through a thread and suddenly a full page Advert will appear. Also there are occasions when exiting AB I become confronted with another full screen advert.

Consequently, I suggest that attention is given to this matter.

Hi P_P......I also have Google Chrome, along with IE and Opera but none of them are set as my Default Browser: which is Firefox. Furthermore, like yourself, I have MSE to protect against viruses etc, and, personally, can't see that Malware is any better. In fact, I take the view that Microsoft should know how to keep its Windows clean.

Mc... I feel quite confident that I do not have any nooky nasties hiding in corners of my computer. However, I could be wrong but will be carefully watching the position to let the Ed know if anything else crops up (or as neti correctly says 'Pops-up')

Ron.
Morning. Just to clarify:

Malware: Noun: Software that is intended to damage or disable computers and computer systems.

MalwareBytes: Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware (MBAM) is a computer application that finds and removes malware.

PLEASE do not confuse the two.
Maybe had another window open at another site that was causing the problem whilst you were looking at this site in the active window?
This is what I suspect O_G.

Hi Ed......Having grasped the position concerning Malwarebytes, I have this morning downloaded the free version and run it through. The following is the up-to-date position:- "Scan completed successfully. No malicious items were detected".

Looks therefore fairly certain that I must have been at fault. Anyway I shall still keep an eye on things.

I now owe you, Chris, O_G and others, at least a pint each. Seems as if I shall have to think about buying a barrel and organising a party.:-)

Best wishes......Ron.
I'll get my best frock out Ron.
