duck recipe

does any one now a good duck recipe. I have a full duck to use or i could brake it up. what souce would you recomend me to cook it in or to have on the side to dip the duck in when cooked.

It's hard to recommend a specific sauce when I don't know what you like! Orange sauce used to be a favourite with duck when served in restaurants but some of the Chinese sauces seem to more favoured these days. If you go to this link you'll find page after page of suggestions:

If you're going to be sharing the duck with fellow diners, I'd suggest opting for the red wine sauce since it's fairly safe to assume that everyone will like this.

You asked this a week ago.... make sure its still edible by the time you make up your mind!
Well, it seems to be the norm in the UK to cook the duck until it's completely dead, dry and crispy - via oven and then deep fat fryer. However by adding it to a pancake with spring onion, cucumber and loads of plum sauce it's delicious!!
