Why does Chris Tarrant have guests ? he asks them a question and after a few words butts in with what he wants to say. The height of bad manners IMO, by the way anagram of his name, - rich rat rants- very appropriate. :-)

Don't like him on the radio (or TV!). Still presents as if he's doing Tiswas.
On the plus side at least I don't have to listen to Steve Wright on the way home this week.....
and his taste in music is better than Mr Wright's.
Re. his talking over guests - it's a fine line between getting some good responses, and also providing a humourous backdrop to the interview as well - some manage the balance better than others.

I always used to wonder what his Capital breakfast Show was like, living outside London, I never heard it. having heard him on Radio Two, I realise i wasn't missing anything! On the 'Allinson Scale' - a '10' being as boring and pointless as Richard Allinson - tarrent is a good eight, with occasional gusts of nine - he is well tedious!
He used to get on my nerves on Millionaire by asking the contestants 'are you sure' once they'd given him an answer which used to floor them and they weren't so sure any more - idiot !!
rich rat rants!!! LOL
I'm never sure quite which is worse. Chris Tarrant sitting in for Steve Wright, or Richard Madeley sitting in for Chris Evans!!!
You could say the same about Jonathan Woss, vulcan.
With you there annie - who ever decided that Richard Madely was, by any stretch of the imagination, entertaining?

And what drugs were they taking?

And can i get some?????
