What happens to the couples that are voted off in Coach Trip.Does someone from the programme go with them back to England or are there hundreds of couples still stranded in hotels round Europe

They get flown back home.
The show has always given the impression that if a couple choose to leave instead of being voted off, they have to pay their own way home.
This is simply untrue.

If people misbehave and receive am instant red card, they do have to make their own way home.

Oh no they don't, gollob. The contract the contestants sign clearly states there journey home will always be paid for and arranged, no matter what.
