Blind bake or not?

Hi ABers! I have pre-cooked some apples for apple pies as my wife doesn't like the fruit too chunky (Wierdo! LOL) Should I blind bake the cases or simply put the fruit mixture in the raw pastry cases and bake as normal? I'm worried they will go soggy on the bottom if I bake them once!

As usual TIA, all answers gratefully received.

If the apple is chilled when you put it in then it shouldn't need to be blind baked IMO
I usually put the fruit into raw pastry but I do sprinkle the base first with a little semolina as it soaks up any excess juice.
I made an apple pie and 10 wee mini tarts with shortcrust pastry last week and my bottom(s) wasn't soggy!
