hi

my (free) avg has just popped up saying its blocked quite a few threats lately,
and when i brought up the report, it showed i'd had -
'327 suspicious processes monitored in the last 30 days'

can anyone tell what kind of 'suspicious process' these could have been, please?

thanks if anyone can help :o)

A process is a mini program running on your PC. For example when you start Windows you are in fact starting dozens on mini programs, each one a process.

And each Program you start may consist of a number of mini programs (processes).

So you may have a hundred genuine processes running on your PC at any one time.

It is difficult for us to know what your suspicious process is.

I suggest you run AVG and do a full scan.

I would also download Malwarebytes (free version) and run that with a full scan in case you have some malware or spyware on your PC.
