Very Yellow Eggs

Well, as discussed recently, Mums (along with a few ABers) got some chickens.

Whenever I go round, they are trotting happily around the lawn ...

(do chickens "trot"?)

... or somewhere in the bushes.

Anyway ... I have a few of the eggs ... and the yolks are SO yellow !!

Like really dark yellow. Almost orange, actually.

Why is this??

And did any ABers get their chickens?

ps. Have you ever seen the size of chicken poo !!!!!!!!!

Lucky you. Fresh eggs are awesome. Have you never seen Nigela's eggs on the tele. You can bet hers aren't as nice as yours, but they are certainly orange..
