Good Substantial Repair
A clause in my lease says that the Landlord has to "keep the property......in good substantial repair" What does this mean exactly? Obviously if the roof blows off he is liable but what about minor things like grouting falling out of tiling or a slightly wobbly door handle? Are such day to day and easily self-repaired defects his responsibility?
