If Railtrack's gone bust, where will the money come from if they sue the government for stopping the dividend payout?

It's all a lot of hot air. A financial lawsuit as complex as this would take years to come to court and the only people who are likely to make any money out of it are the lawyers. I think that the shareholders know this and are just angry because they didn't get any warning that this would happen.
