I have bought and sold on eBay for about 4 years and never had a bad experience except a couple of none payers, as have millions of others. The chances of dealing with a fraud is literally millions to one, and if you are unfortunate enough to get duped, you don`t make the same mistake twice. If the documentary hadn`t been aired, you would be none the wiser and have no need to worry.

No I was just wondering. I too have bought a fair few things on there. I have never sold anything on there. I have never had any problems. Theres always one bad apple I suppose.
I buy and sell on ebay, it comes down to common sense and a bit of a gut instinct as well as you can soon spot the scammers after trading for a bit, my gripe is that i dont think ebay does enough to protect people who buy and sell, also it is annoying when you need to speak to someone urgently yet have to bombard them with emails before getting a response
I've bought and sold on Ebay since 1998 an never had a problem. Fair enough, you have the odd non payer but never anything fraudulent. I always think you should just use your common sense with Ebay - if it's too good to be true just steer clear. I have great fun using Ebay and have met some fab people
