Memory stick problem

Everytime I try to Copy a Program from my Humax Satalite box onto a 2gb memory stick it only records about half of the program, For example the other day I tried to put two hour long programs on to the memory stick at the same time and it recorded 20 mins of the first one and 30 mins of the second. I have reformatted the memory stick and still no luck. any advise please.

2gb is not that large for video files.

Is it running out of space?

No not even 50% used up and the bits it does copy play perfectly on the computer, If I try one program only, it still only records about half of it

This is a bit like going to the doctors when you go your aches dissapear, Just tried the memory stick for the umpteenth time and Bingo it worked, Just for the record an hours program took up 1.08gb
