printing problem

i'm running a filmed horse racing night and am trying to make a a programme of the event with list of runners for 8 races from an A4 sheet (folded in half). is there a computer programme that i can download to achieve this, i want the document to be double sided so i can print text on both sides. i have microsoft office word 2007 that i use for normal stuff. sorry if this sounds a bit vague but would appreciate any help, thanks.

Method 1:
In Word 2007, open a new blank document.
Click on the 'Page Layout' tab.
Click on Orientation > Landscape
Click on Columns > Two
Type 'page 2' (the inside front cover of your document) and continue onto 'page 3' (the inside back cover).
(To keep the two pages independent of each other (so that adjusting text on page 2 doesn't affect page 3, go to the bottom of page 2 and use Breaks > Column Break)
Create a second document, by the same method, and then type out 'page 4' followed by 'page 1'
Print the first document, turn the paper over and print the second document.

Method 2:
In Word 2007, click on the Office Button and then on New.
Select 'Brochures and Booklets' and then 'Programs'
Choose a suitable option. ('School concert event program' is possibly best for your needs). Click on it, then on Download.
Adapt that template to suit your requirements.

Method 3:
Use a proper desktop publishing program. This is a useful freebie:
