1980s Coke Ad
4 Answers
There was a Coke ad in the 1980s that had the following lyrics:-
'I am the future of the world
I am the hope of my nation
I am tomorrow's people
I am the new insiriation
And we've got a song to sing to you
We've got a message to bring to you
Listen to me
For you and me and tomorrow
If we all can agree
There'll be sweet harmony tomorrow
And we all will be there
Coca-cola to share
Feeling so real and so true
Come with us tomorrow
And we'll build a better world for you'
1) Are these lyrics 100% correct?
2) Is there anywhere I can see/hear the ad online?
Ta!

You are almost spot on with your lyrics, in full they were
I am the future of the world.
I am the hope of my nation.
I am tomorrow's people.
I am the new inspiration.
And we've got a song to sing to you,
We've got a message to bring to you.
Please let there be for you and for me
A tomorrow (tomorrow)
If we all can agree, there'll be sweet harmony
Tomorrow (tomorrow)
And we all will be there, Coca Cola to share,
Feeling so real and so true.
Promise us tomorrow,
And we'll build a better world for you.
The advert was filmed in St George's Hall in Liverpool in the late 1980's and was later filmed in 19 different languages. As to the location on the web of the advert I am at a bit of a loss, however the following site may be of some use (but I doubt it!)
