We have clear skies here in Leicestershire so hoping for a last view before it changes course.

Many thanks wendilla! Will keep an eye out! xxx
Fingers crossed wendilla, last night was a glorious sunset but I missed seeing the ISS.
Excuse me for being stupid, but what is the ISS actually for? (Know I could search for it on the net but I presume I wouldn't understand what I found). Thanks.
Well.... research and collaboration.
http://www.nasa.gov/home/index.html Sharrard the link shows the space station and the supply ship look like. There is a Q&A part too, you might find it interesting.
Thanks AYG, I have seen a few times, once with the supply ship. Just wondered what they are actually doing.
Thanks for the advice, wendilla. I have just been told this 10 minutes too late for the sighting. Can you tell me how to travel back in time as well?

No sighting here . No more sighting for a few weeks . I will remind you all.
ISS stands for Incredibly Stupid Surfer or it would be if I was feeling very irate. It actually stands for Internation Space Station, in fact.
My you catch on quickly jonnyboy, I looked at this post tonight because I thought the Incredibly stupid somethingorother was coming our way tonight. Doh
In fact - International Space Station
Do I detect sarcasm here? I have only just seen this post so could not have posted it any sooner if I had wanted to. Seriously when is the next sighting of the ISS (the Space Station, not the Stupid Surfer) as can not see a posting currently for wendilla?
You'll have to keep a lookout Wendilla, usually posts the times when it is next in our orbit.
